where me and Chris used to go just to smoke all day
watching the fall colours blazing
staring out at the islands high above the lake
stagger down the trail at night
to firefly lights and mosquito bites
hit the Mac's for some smokes and snacks
and then we'd, stumble home across the railroad tracks
but I'm here on the West Coast
there's nothing but death and ghosts
